Welder/ Mechanic - Room to Grow + Shift Differential Pay
About The Position
JENNMAR Services is seeking full-time Welders and Maintenance Technicians for the Bailey Mine Preparation Plant in Graysville, Pennsylvania. The role offers competitive pay, performance-based pay increases, benefits, and long-term career opportunities in a stable and growing industry. Employees maintain, repair, and troubleshoot preparation plant machinery and perform welding and torching to replace or repair equipment and structural components. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts followed by three days off. Available shifts are 1st shift, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM; and 3rd shift, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM. Overtime is available. MSHA Surface Training is provided if needed.
Requirements
- A background in welding or maintenance.
- Knowledge of using basic hand tools.
- Ability to work shifts that include weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and hair follicle test.
- Required PPE, which is not provided: hard hat, reflective vest or shirt, and metatarsal boots.
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
- MSHA Surface Training; training is provided if needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot preparation plant machinery.
- Perform welding and torching as needed to replace or repair screens, shakers, chutes, crushers, and support beams.
- Assist with general labor and maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
- Comply with all MSHA safety requirements.
- Complete MSHA Surface Training; training is provided.
