About The Position
Spring Gardens of Orem is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join its community in Orem, Utah. This PRN, as-needed role is on the night shift and involves providing resident care and services in accordance with individual service plans. The position calls for someone committed to demonstrating exemplary red carpet service and supporting residents’ independence, safety, and comfort.
Requirements
- Customer-service-driven.
- CNA license or experience working with seniors.
- Committed to health and safety.
- Reliable team player.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Positive and compassionate attitude.
- CPR certified.
- Finger print card.
Responsibilities
- Read and implement care and activities of daily living (ADLs) according to each resident’s service plan.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms.
- Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents.
- Promote resident independence and self-care.
- Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plans for assigned residents.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Follow safety and infection-control policies and practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
- Promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
- Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff in keeping the community and resident property clean.
- Recognize, respond to, and report environmental concerns to ensure resident safety and comfort.
