About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a part-time Weekend In-Home Caregiver to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role provides personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Weekend availability is required, with availability to work two weekend days per month. The position offers flexible scheduling and shift lengths ranging from 1 to 12 hours. One-hour shifts pay $30 per hour, two-hour shifts pay $22.50 per hour, and shifts of three hours or longer pay a base rate of $19–$22 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience providing hands-on care in a Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, or Hospital Setting.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
Availability to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
Participate in care coordination and communicate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
Provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping in clients’ homes.
