About The Position

Commonwise is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to support clients in maintaining their safety, independence, and quality of life. Caregivers build relationships with clients and families, provide reliable care, advocate for clients in community settings, and assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. The role welcomes a wide range of care professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PCAs, HHAs, PCTs, MedTechs, Nurse Aides, Companions, PT Assistants, and Nursing Students.

Schedules are flexible, with options for mornings, evenings, or nights. Commonwise provides caregiver mentorship, training, professional development opportunities, and 24/7 after-hours support. Starting pay is $17.50–$20 per hour, with a $250 sign-on bonus, premium rates, referral bonuses, and weekend pay differentials.

Requirements

• Strong communication abilities.
• Strong visual and auditory abilities.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 20–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending.
• Driving may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
• Provide reliable and compassionate care.
• Advocate for clients in community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and support with hobbies and interests.
