About The Position
Visiting Angels of York is hiring a part-time Home Caregiver serving clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, Wrightsville, Hanover, Red Lion, Spring Grove, and surrounding areas of York County, Pennsylvania. The position offers flexible scheduling, with hours that may reach full-time depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role provides one-on-one, non-medical assistance to clients, including personal care, household tasks, mobility support, and monitoring for safety and comfort. The position may require travel. A $500 new-hire sign-on bonus is available, along with referral bonuses. Caregivers receive 24/7 support during shifts from the office staff.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- One year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
- CNA license preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Perform light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks.
- Provide transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed.
- Monitor clients to help ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night.
- Provide other non-medical assistance as assigned.
