About The Position

Sedgebrook Senior Living is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join its dining team. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, provides warm and attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives. No formal serving experience is required; training is provided.

This is a non-exempt, part-time hourly position paying $16.00–$17.00 per hour based on experience, with a $250 sign-on bonus paid in two increments: $100 at six months and $150 at 12 months. The regular schedule is 4:00 PM–7:30 PM, subject to availability. Availability for at least three shifts is required, with the listed options being Sunday/Wednesday/Friday, Wednesday/Friday/Saturday, or Monday/Friday/Saturday. Friday evening availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn; serving experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Availability to work Friday evenings.
• Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests.
• Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care.

• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards.
