About The Position

Castolin Eutectic is seeking a strategic-minded Wear Solutions Specialist to grow its wear services business in Ontario, with a focus on mining, power generation, paper and pulp, cement, and steel industries. The position is home-based and involves developing a territory around Timmins and surrounding communities. The specialist will deliver comprehensive wear solutions to end users and OEMs in targeted strategic accounts, using the company’s technology and services to develop and expand markets for wear-resistant products and solutions.

The role combines territory and business development with customer relationship management and technical support. The specialist will identify new prospects and expansion opportunities, maintain a CRM pipeline, support customers with technical and product matters, and collaborate with the Wear Solutions team and other regions. The position is accountable for sales volume, revenue, and gross profit margin goals, and also includes representing the company at industry events and maintaining CRM and expense-report documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant wear solutions experience in one or more of mining, power generation, paper and pulp, cement, or steel operations; relevant backgrounds may include maintenance manager, plant manager, millwright, sales professional, or similar roles.
• Solid understanding of surface protection and wear management solutions.
• Comfort speaking with maintenance, engineering, and purchasing personnel within key accounts.
• Basic understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.
• Consultative communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of basic print reading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Basic understanding of welding, maintenance, and repair technologies.

Responsibilities

• Grow Castolin Eutectic’s wear services, including CDP wearplate, Castotube, LaserClad, and complementary products, in targeted strategic accounts.
• Work with the Wear Solutions team to provide technical and application support.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, including end users and OEMs, and identify their needs to provide tailored solutions.
• Identify prospects and opportunities with existing customers that align with company service capabilities.
• Develop messaging for new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM.
• Provide technical, design, and product support, address wear-related queries, and assist with proposals and quotations.
• Cooperate with other regions to share best practices and improve technical and commercial approaches.
• Achieve sales volume and revenue targets and improve gross profit margins for the Wear Services business.
• Support development of the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives to generate revenue and profitability.
• Identify, communicate, and support resolution of critical business issues.
• Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and training workshops.
• Keep key CRM documentation updated and submit weekly expense reports.
