About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Supervisor to oversee guest and associate safety across indoor and outdoor waterpark areas, including pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features. The supervisor applies life-saving skills and first aid when needed and supports the Waterpark Manager with associate training and in-service training. As part of the leadership team, this role guides and supports associates while ensuring guests receive welcoming, responsive, friendly, and courteous service. This is an hourly wage role.

Requirements

Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities.
A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Waterpark Manager with associate training and in-service training, and demonstrate rescue skills upon request.
Ensure lifeguards and EMTs perform according to the standards set by Kalahari’s certifying agency and management team.
Walk the entire waterpark floor throughout shifts to check safety concerns, guest satisfaction, and lifeguard performance.
Conduct morning and evening in-services and ensure participants complete the required documentation.
Prepare required paperwork, including forms, write-ups, reports, and schedules, in an organized and timely manner.
Work with the waterpark maintenance team to monitor equipment and ensure it is safe, clean, and in excellent working condition.
Help ensure guest and associate safety throughout waterpark areas and apply life-saving skills and first aid when needed.
Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
