About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Lead Lifeguard to help ensure the safety of guests and associates throughout indoor and outdoor waterpark areas. The role includes applying lifesaving and first-aid skills, assisting managers with waterpark operations and associate supervision, and supporting cleanliness, sanitation, and outstanding guest experiences. The Waterpark Lead Lifeguard walks the waterpark floor during shifts to identify safety concerns, assess guest satisfaction, and monitor lifeguard performance. The position also requires preparing forms, reports, and other paperwork in an organized and timely manner. This is an hourly wage position.

Requirements

Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities is required.
A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a waterpark role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to guests in need.
Assist managers with overall waterpark operations and supervision of waterpark associates.
Support waterpark cleanliness and sanitation and help provide exceptional guest experiences.
Help ensure the safety of guests and associates in pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features in indoor and outdoor waterpark areas.
Walk the waterpark floor throughout shifts to check for safety concerns, guest satisfaction, and lifeguard performance.
Prepare required paperwork, including forms and reports, in an organized and timely manner.
Help ensure guests feel welcome and safe and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
