About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Lead Lifeguard to help ensure the safety of guests and associates throughout the indoor and outdoor waterpark areas. The role includes supporting managers with waterpark operations and supervising associates, while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Lead Lifeguard is expected to guide, support, and inspire associates and provide welcoming, responsive, friendly, and courteous service. This is an hourly wage position.

Requirements

• Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities is required.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a waterpark role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply life-saving skills and first aid to guests in need.
• Assist managers with overall operations and supervision of waterpark associates.
• Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation and provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure the safety of guests and associates in pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features in the indoor and outdoor waterpark areas.
• Walk the entire waterpark floor throughout shifts to check safety concerns, guest satisfaction, and lifeguard performance.
• Prepare required paperwork, forms, and reports in an organized and timely manner.
