Waterpark Maintenance - Painter
About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Painter to prepare and paint areas of the waterpark and assist with small maintenance tasks. The role also involves keeping equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following ride manufacturers’ preventative maintenance programs, helping ensure repairs do not inconvenience guests, and maintaining clean indoor and outdoor waterpark pools. The position is part of the leadership team and is expected to support and inspire associates while helping deliver extraordinary guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of painting equipment and mixing paint products.
- Desire to continually learn and improve.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort.
Responsibilities
- Prepare areas before painting.
- Cover areas that should not be painted with painter’s plastic.
- Paint intricate surfaces and small or large parts, sometimes using a ladder or walk board.
- Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following ride manufacturers’ preventative maintenance programs.
- Help maintain the waterpark so guests are not inconvenienced by repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of indoor and outdoor waterpark pools.
- Assist with small maintenance tasks.
