About The Position

Massanutten Resort is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Custodian to maintain clean and orderly public areas, restrooms, and other assigned areas at the Massanutten WaterPark. The role includes removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, stripping and polishing floors, and using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. Training is available for the right candidate.

This is a full-time, year-round position working 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on a rotating four-week schedule. Compensation is $12.77 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial experience; training is available.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows, locker areas, retail areas, and other assigned areas.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain floors throughout the building, including GEP establishments and public tile floors.
• Clean and polish the exterior of lockers.
• Remove trash and perform vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and polishing.
• Use chemicals, equipment, and cleaning applications safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
