About The Position

Massanutten Resort is hiring a self-motivated, detail-oriented Custodian to maintain clean and orderly public areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces at the Massanutten WaterPark. Duties include removing trash; vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and polishing floors; and using chemicals, equipment, and cleaning applications safely. Training is available for the right candidate.

This is a full-time, year-round position with a rotating four-week schedule. Hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with additional hours as needed. Pay is $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial experience; training is available for the right candidate.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows, locker areas, retail areas, and other assigned areas.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors throughout the building, including GEP establishments and public tile floors.
• Clean and polish the exterior of lockers.
• Remove trash and perform vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and polishing as needed.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and applications safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
