About The Position

Wilderness Resort is seeking a hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer-service-driven Waterpark Attendant to help provide guests with a safe and memorable experience. The position is responsible for guest safety at the water facilities and for maintaining the cleanliness of indoor and outdoor pool and waterpark areas. Attendants provide guest service, enforce safety and park rules, assist guests and lost children, inspect facilities, and issue towels. Some slide-entry assistance responsibilities do not apply to staff members who are 15 years old. This is a full- or part-time position requiring day, night, and weekend availability. Responsibilities

Provide friendly, outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging guests and meeting or exceeding departmental quality standards.
Assist guests entering slides, including helping them avoid slipping or falling when getting into a ride vehicle or waterslide start tub; this responsibility excludes 15-year-old staff members.
Assist guests exiting certain slides to help prevent slips or falls when leaving a ride vehicle or waterslide run-out.
Ensure guests follow safety and park rules.
Caution swimmers about unsafe areas.
Maintain order in swimming and water play areas.
Assist with lost children.
Inspect and maintain facilities for cleanliness.
Develop a high level of resort knowledge.
Issue towels at waterpark towel kiosks and serve as a contact point for guests needing assistance.
