About The Position

North American Truck & Trailer is seeking a Warranty Clerk to process warranty claims and support customers throughout the claims process. The role involves reviewing claim eligibility, maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, and coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to resolve claims. The clerk also analyzes claim data, generates reports, follows company policies, helps prevent fraudulent claims, and participates in efforts to improve warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer warranty claims and verify eligibility under warranty terms and conditions.
• Maintain organized records of claims, customer information, product details, and claim status.
• Contact customers to gather claim information, provide status updates, and answer inquiries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to validate coverage and arrange parts, repairs, or replacements.
• Analyze warranty data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide customer service by addressing concerns, offering solutions, and supporting a positive claims experience.
• Process claims according to company policies and procedures, including guidelines for approval, denial, and escalation.
• Apply quality-control measures to verify claim information and help prevent fraudulent claims.
• Generate reports on warranty claims, processing times, and related metrics, and update management on claim status and trends.
• Participate in improving warranty processes and procedures, sharing feedback and identifying ways to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
