About The Position

The Warehouse Worker completes daily warehousing tasks accurately and with attention to detail. Using a computer system, the role packs customer orders and receives materials. The worker processes shipments as part of a team to ensure orders are picked, checked for accuracy, packed, and shipped on the day they are ordered. During slower periods, the worker assists colleagues and performs general warehouse activities, including cleaning and organizing distribution center areas, restocking picking and overflow locations, completing cycle counts, and sorting products for receipt.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to work cooperatively with customers and organizational team members.
• Experience maintaining a positive attitude and building relationships with peers.
• Ability to problem-solve and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to read computerized packing lists and track or calculate product shipments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move between order-processing stations, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete cycle counts and sort products for receipt.
