About The Position

As a warehouse colleague at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will help deliver products ranging from personal protective equipment to microscopes for high school biology classrooms. The role supports the company’s work to help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. It calls for enthusiastic, dependable, hard-working team players who are ready to contribute to customers and colleagues each day. You will process customer orders and work in one or more warehouse process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, or shipping. You will package and label shipments in accordance with standard operating procedures, complete hazardous-material documentation, and help ensure inventory is stored properly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of general warehouse experience.
Experience with powered industrial trucks, including order pickers.
Cherry picker or forklift experience required.
Ability to stand and move around the warehouse for significant periods, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently, and to solve problems quickly.
Ability to read and write in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience handling hazardous materials, such as chemicals.
Experience with computers and scanning equipment.

Responsibilities
