About The Position

As a warehouse colleague, you will help deliver a range of products, from life-saving personal protective equipment to microscopes for high school biology classrooms. You will process customer orders and may work in receiving, picking, packing, or shipping. In shipping, you will inspect items for quality and quantity, wrap them, and prepare orders for delivery. The role contributes to helping customers and colleagues, including scientists and healthcare workers, receive the products and equipment they need.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of general warehouse experience.
Experience with powered industrial trucks, such as order pickers.
Ability to stand and move around the warehouse for significant periods, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently, and to solve problems quickly.
Ability to read and write in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience handling hazardous materials, such as chemicals.
Experience with computers and scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations.
Work in one or more warehouse process paths: receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
Inspect the quality and quantity of items and wrap them before delivery.
Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.
Complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
Help ensure inventory is stored properly.
