About The Position
Oak View Group is hiring a part-time Warehouse Worker at Peoples Bank Arena. The role assists with venue distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, event lay-ins, purchase-order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. It supports effective and profitable business operations and requires excellent attendance, professional presentation, strong interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making. The schedule is variable and event-driven, with evening and weekend availability required. The hourly rate is $17.46–$18.07 per the collective bargaining agreement, with benefits provided under the union agreement. The position is scheduled to remain open until December 31, 2026.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible work schedule and availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in weather-related and non-weather-related cold environments.
- Ability to maintain safety and productivity on wet or slippery surfaces.
- Willingness to work around extremely hot equipment and surfaces.
- Comfort working in environments with elevated noise levels.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of foodservice or hospitality experience preferred.
- Similar venue experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with product purchasing and ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
- Maintain sanitation and organization systems in all warehouse storage areas.
- Fulfill event needs, including event-time requisitioning, post-event breakdown, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Maintain appropriate stocking levels for each event and rotate products while preserving their integrity.
- Ensure proper product transfers between locations, including follow-up documentation.
- Assist with routine maintenance.
- Clean and maintain concession and utility equipment, including portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting.
- Ensure manifested equipment is in the designated location.
- Walk through the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas at the end of the day to confirm they are clean.
