About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Wheeling facility supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks involved in receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring efficient product flow from vendors to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers can obtain the products they need to care for patients.

This part-time flex role follows a schedule based on business volume. A Friday shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or until work is complete) is mandatory and scheduled in advance. Other shifts may be offered Monday through Thursday, and employees can select additional shifts based on their availability. Additional opportunities vary by location and week. Accepted shifts must be worked in full, may continue beyond the estimated end time, and are subject to standard attendance expectations. Hours vary with availability and business needs and will not exceed 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis. New hires may complete a 1–3-day onboarding ramp-up during their first week or first pay period, with the schedule agreed upon during the offer process.

The pay rate is $17.30 per hour. The role is not bonus eligible. Paid time off is provided in compliance with applicable laws. Shift opportunities, work updates, and announcements are sent to a mobile device. The application window is anticipated to close on 11/10/2026.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment; warehouse experience is not required, and training is provided starting the first day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to work additional available shifts when possible.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and/or participate in projects as assigned by a manager or other management team member.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
• Work accepted shifts in full and meet standard attendance expectations.
