Warehouse Associate (Part-time, Flex)
About The Position
The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists with inbound or outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor while meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound work includes receiving products; outbound work includes shipping products. Warehouse Operations handles materials and product distribution, including warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt through shipment to internal and external customers. This is a part-time, flexible-shift role. Employees may select shifts Monday through Friday between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. using the Shyft app, with four-hour shifts totaling up to 29 hours per week. The first week requires 16 hours of on-site training, scheduled flexibly in four-hour sessions.
Requirements
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of experience.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
- PIT experience.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trucks using a pallet jack or equivalent device to move pallets out of the trucks.
- Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
- Follow regulations for storing refrigerated specialty products.
- Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
- Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
