Warehouse Worker (Part Time- Flex, Days)
About The Position
Warehouse Operations handles the manual and automated work involved in receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring products flow efficiently from vendors to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. This flexible, part-time role supports high-volume days, planned PTO coverage, and periods of high call-offs. One Monday shift per week is mandatory, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until work is complete. Additional shifts can be selected by the worker from those available. Weekly hours and days depend on availability and business needs and will not exceed an average of 29 hours on an ongoing basis. Once a shift is accepted, the worker is expected to complete it and meet attendance expectations; shifts may extend beyond their estimated end time. New hires may complete a one-to-three-day onboarding ramp during the first week or first pay period, with timing agreed during the job offer process. The pay rate is $20.61 per hour. The role is not bonus eligible. Paid time off is provided in compliance with applicable laws.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting performance quotas and attendance requirements.
- Basic proficiency in English, including reading and writing, to process documents.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Train and obtain certification to drive material handling equipment as required by job duties.
