Warehouse Worker (Full Time, Days)
About The Position
Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks necessary for receiving, storing, and shipping products. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, while ensuring the efficient flow of products from vendors to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. This full-time, day-shift role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or until work is finished. The position pays $20.61 per hour and is eligible for the benefits and programs listed in the posting. Warehouse experience is not required; training is provided beginning on the first day. The role requires working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented distribution environment, meeting performance and attendance expectations, and being flexible to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
- Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
