About The Position

BD is hiring a Warehouse Worker to help move materials safely and efficiently throughout its manufacturing operation. This active, hands-on role supports warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a rotating 12-hour schedule, with every other weekend off. Employees work 15 days each month. The role involves operating material-handling equipment, moving materials through the facility, maintaining inventory, and supporting safe, accurate, and high-quality warehouse operations. The position is onsite at BD’s Sandy, Utah, work location. BD describes the facility as climate-controlled and offers on-site amenities including a cafeteria and 24-hour gym.

Requirements

Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
Basic computer and inventory system skills.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; alternatively, ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material-handling equipment.
Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts.
Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
Meet warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards.
Participate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities, and continuous improvement projects.
