About The Position

Cavalier Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Blue Ash Warehouse to assist with daily warehouse operations, receive product, manage inventory, and support the Warehouse Manager as needed. The role involves safely handling products and working in an active, customer-focused, fast-paced environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Benefits are offered after 60 days of full-time employment.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous warehouse work experience is preferred.
• Must have forklift experience and be forklift certified.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including with a supervisor.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to process information and merchandise.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete documentation.
• Ability to safely and frequently move and handle products generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend and stoop.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and man lift.
• Ability to perform the described physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, using hands to handle objects or controls, reaching, climbing or balancing, and talking.
• Vision abilities including distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a warehouse environment of at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing physical inventory of warehouse items and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supplies.
• Receive, log, and unload incoming freight shipments; verify freight against invoices and purchase orders.
• Handle truck loading and receiving efficiently.
• Use a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging them for loading.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the picking process.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness.
• Multitask in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations as needed.
