About The Position

Cavalier Distributing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its Blue Ash, Ohio warehouse. The role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving product, managing inventory, and assisting the Warehouse Manager as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Compensation is $18 per hour. Benefits are offered after 60 days of full-time employment.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous warehouse work experience is preferred.
• Must have forklift experience and be forklift certified.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including with a supervisor.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to process information and merchandise.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete documentation.
• Ability to safely, frequently, and independently move and handle products generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit regularly; stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk to others; bend and stoop.
• Vision abilities including distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and man lift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a warehouse environment for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing physical inventory and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supplies.
• Receive, log, and unload incoming freight shipments.
• Verify freight against invoices and purchase orders.
• Load and receive trucks efficiently and effectively.
• Use a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging them for loading.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the picking process.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness.
• Multitask in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with warehouse operations as needed.
