About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to safely deliver craft beer, wine, and other beverages to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in a box truck in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The driver represents the company to customers and is responsible for courteous service, safe vehicle operation, product handling, accurate paperwork, and cash management. The position offers a four-day work week and hourly total compensation of $22.50–$23.50, based on experience. The fleet consists of new trucks equipped with liftgates and telematics. Full-time benefits include PTO accruing from the start date, a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments, and additional benefits available after 60 days, with 401(k) matching eligibility beginning the first of the quarter following the employee’s 90th day.

Requirements

• Valid, unexpired driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
• Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck and follow DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and carry out cash management duties with integrity.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts.
