About The Position
Diesel Direct Central is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely and efficiently make deliveries to various customers. The role involves operating a commercial diesel truck or tractor-trailer, driving multiple vehicles safely, following time schedules, and maintaining attention to detail, organization, and punctuality. The driver delivers accurate quantities on time, inspects vehicles, maintains delivery records, complies with applicable regulations and company policies, provides customer service, and prioritizes safety. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to customers, ensuring accurate quantities and timely service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and detailed delivery records, including signatures and fuel quantities.
- Comply with hours-of-service rules, safety standards, vehicle maintenance requirements, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Follow company safety procedures and regulations in all aspects of the work.
