About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely and courteously deliver craft beer, wine, and other beverages to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in a box truck. The position offers a four-day work week and hourly total compensation of $22.50–$23.50, based on experience. Drivers use a fleet of new trucks equipped with liftgates and telematics. Full-time benefits include PTO accruing from the start date, with additional benefits available after 60 days. The successful candidate receives a $1,000 signing bonus, paid in installments after 30, 90, and 120 days.

Requirements

• Valid, unexpired driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
• Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles while following DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and maneuver product, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and carry out cash management duties with integrity.
• Provide exceptional customer service to delivery accounts.
