About The Position
Cavalier Distributing Company is seeking a full-time Non-CDL Beverage Delivery Driver in Richfield, Ohio. The driver delivers craft beer, wine, and other beverages to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in a box truck. Drivers are expected to represent the company professionally while making safe, courteous, and efficient deliveries. The role includes a four-day work week and hourly total compensation of $22.50–$23.50 based on experience, with a monthly safety bonus. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid in installments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, and $500 after 120 days. Full-time benefits include PTO accruing from the start date, with additional benefits available after 60 days. The company provides a fleet of new trucks equipped with liftgates and telematics.
Requirements
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
- Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to bend and stoop.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and comply with DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report safety issues.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and handle cash management duties with integrity.
- Provide professional customer service to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts.
