About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is hiring a non-CDL Beverage Delivery Driver in Lakeland, Florida. The driver safely and courteously delivers beverage products to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts using a box truck. The position offers a four-day work week and hourly total compensation of $19.50–$21.50, based on experience. Drivers use a fleet of new trucks outfitted with liftgates and telematics. This is a full-time role with paid time off accruing from the first day. Additional benefits are available after 60 days, including health, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and reimbursement accounts, disability and other insurance coverage, a beverage-purchase reimbursement program, an education savings plan, and a 401(k) with company matching, subject to the stated eligibility period.

Requirements

Valid, unexpired driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and comply with DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report safety issues.
Maintain accurate paperwork and carry out cash management duties with integrity.
Provide professional customer service to delivery accounts.
