About The Position
Cavalier Distributing Company is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to deliver craft beer, wine, and other beverage products to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in a box truck. The driver represents the company through safe, courteous, and reliable service. The position offers a four-day work week and pays $18.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience. Employees may earn more than $9,000 per year in performance and safety bonuses. Full-time benefits become available after 60 days. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid in installments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, and $500 after 120 days.
Requirements
- Valid, unexpired driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Thorough understanding of traffic laws and commitment to defensive driving.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
- Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles safely and comply with DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing 30 to 165 pounds.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report safety issues.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and handle cash management duties with integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service to delivery accounts.
