About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to safely and courteously deliver craft beer, wine, and other beverage products to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in a box truck. The role offers a four-day work week and hourly total compensation of $22.50–$23.50, based on experience. Drivers operate a fleet of new trucks equipped with liftgates and telematics and serve as a customer-facing representative of the company.

The successful candidate will load, unload, and maneuver products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds; follow DOT safety regulations and traffic laws; inspect the vehicle before and after trips; report safety issues; complete paperwork and cash-management duties accurately; and provide professional customer service. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid in installments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, and $500 after 120 days.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, unexpired driver’s license and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Have a thorough understanding of traffic laws and a commitment to defensive driving.
• Have excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
• Have basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
• Be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and comply with DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and carry out cash-management duties with integrity.
• Provide exceptional, professional customer service to delivery accounts.
