About The Position

The Sonesta-Blue Ash is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join its overnight team. The Night Auditor is the primary face of the hotel during the night shift, combining guest service with accounting duties. The position involves auditing and balancing daily financial activity, assisting overnight guests, preparing operational and financial reports, maintaining property security, responding to emergencies, and helping prepare for the breakfast shift.

Requirements

Strong math skills and sharp analytical abilities.
High comfort level balancing financial data spreadsheets.
Proven history of excellent attendance and punctuality.
Courteous, professional English communication skills to resolve guest concerns independently.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Audit, balance, and verify daily front desk cash flows, credit card transactions, and room revenue accounts against system records.
Manage late-night check-ins and early departures, and respond to overnight reservation inquiries with a customer-focused approach.
Compile, organize, and distribute daily operational journals and financial summaries to hotel management.
Maintain building security and monitor the property lobby and access points.
Handle overnight emergencies according to standard procedures.
Set up early coffee and assist with breakfast-shift preparation.
