About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. The role involves preparing outbound customer orders, handling incoming materials, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Starting pay is stated as $24.00 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience; the posting also lists a pay range of $19.51–$29.26 per hour. The role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan.

Requirements

0–3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
High attention to detail.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to learn company systems quickly and work as a self-starter.
Ongoing focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Must complete pre-employment drug and background screening.
Must wear a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift, such as an order selector or cherry picker, to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and promptly receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials.
Clean the workspace while working and help keep the facility clean, safe, and free of accidents.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
