This role serves as a solutions architect and platform strategist, partnering with business leaders to determine the best approach for utilizing existing platforms, introducing new capabilities, or integrating systems. The goal is to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, integration patterns, security requirements, and long-term scalability. The position also leads transformation and change management by driving the adoption of new platforms, products, and ways of working, including AI-enabled workflows, through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and measurable outcomes. A key aspect is delivering digital capabilities through productized solutions, guiding the build/buy/partner approach for fan-facing and internal tools to ensure they are maintainable, well-adopted, and tied to clear business value. The role advances analytics and emerging technology innovation by championing a culture of data-informed decision-making, enabling self-service insights, defining meaningful KPIs, and evaluating emerging technologies like AI to improve customer experience, operations, and time-to-value. It also focuses on scaling AI and automation where it creates clear value, identifying, prioritizing, and delivering AI-enabled solutions with appropriate governance, along with other automation opportunities to streamline workflows, improve service, and enhance decision-making. The VP will lead product & business enablement teams, setting the vision and operating model for product owners, business enablement managers, and project managers, and collaborating with business and technology leaders to shape and maintain outcome-driven product roadmaps that deliver measurable business results. This includes owning the portfolio, roadmap, and delivery discipline by establishing intake, prioritization, and governance, aligning investments to strategy, and ensuring predictable, transparent delivery across cross-functional teams. Oversight of data operations, reliability, and data products is crucial, ensuring stable pipelines and platforms through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement, and delivering trusted datasets for analytics, automation, and reporting. The role drives enterprise integration and vendor partnerships by overseeing key third-party relationships and integrations, defining API/integration patterns, and ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, and support end-to-end business processes. Ownership of product-level consent and privacy implementation is essential, ensuring privacy-by-design standards, consent language, preference centers, cookie and tracker management, and enforcement across CDP, CRM, ESP, ticketing, and downstream platforms are accurate, harmonized, and compliant with leagues and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring compliant handling of personal data across the product lifecycle, requiring PIAs for new products and integrations, enabling automated DSAR workflows, holding vendors accountable to privacy standards, maintaining audit documentation, and serving as the executive escalation point when delivery timelines conflict with consent or compliance obligations. Establishing data governance and quality standards by defining policies, stewardship, and controls to ensure accuracy, privacy, and secure access is also a key responsibility, enabling consistent measurement and trustworthy insights across the organization. Finally, the role focuses on developing people and strengthening product, data, and delivery capabilities by coaching leaders and teams, building modern practices (product management, agile delivery, data engineering), and fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
