VP, Revenue Marketing

Bloomerang
•$175,500 - $292,500•Remote

About The Position

The VP of Revenue Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is accountable for how Bloomerang generates new business demand and revenue. The role leads the demand and conversion engine, including buyer journeys, integrated campaigns, account-based sales and marketing plays, search and AI visibility, paid search, the website, and conversion optimization. Success means driving month-over-month and year-over-year growth in new account acquisition, pipeline, and bookings in partnership with Business Development, Sales, and Marketing leadership. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role that leads through team leaders, influences the wider Marketing Team, and serves as a trusted partner across the business. The VP identifies future sources of demand and builds funded plans to develop them; expands into new market segments with account-based marketing and sales playbooks; and improves buyer journeys through campaigns, nurture, personalization, conversion, and funnel velocity. The role aligns Marketing, Business Development, and Sales around shared plans and metrics, uses experiments and evidence to guide investment, and owns the programmatic, demand software, and campaign budget. The VP also helps lead the department’s AI agenda, develops the team and its leaders, and represents Bloomerang to the nonprofit and fundraising sector through speaking and other market-facing engagement. Bloomerang describes this as a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, Indiana may work from company headquarters. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not offered. The salary range is $175,500–$292,500, with possible eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Requirements

  • Experience scaling a high-volume, high-velocity inbound engine where Marketing sourced the majority of pipeline.
  • Experience carrying a number through sustained 30%+ year-over-year bookings growth and helping scale a business toward $200M or beyond.
  • Experience owning a marketing-sourced pipeline number and delivering against it under pressure.
  • Experience building and maintaining a reverse waterfall or equivalent funnel plan with Sales, Business Development, and Revenue Operations leadership.

  • Evidence-based decision-making, including testing before scaling and willingness to stop programs that do not perform.
  • Experience carrying a shared number with Sales leadership and working effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development peers.
  • Ability to present credibly to nonprofit executives, industry influencers, senior leadership, and executive teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with nonprofit and fundraising buyers without relying on jargon.
