About the position
The Vice President Health Plan Sales at RxSense is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with entities interested in Pharmacy Benefit Management. They will sell and assist in the implementation and management of Pharmacy Technology Solutions, Adjudication, and Business Intelligence to entities requiring technology solutions and Prescription Benefits Management. The role involves prospecting, demos, pricing, presentations, and securing new business in accordance with sales targets. The Vice President Health Plan Sales will also maintain a network of sales contacts and stay updated on technology trends and competition in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Generate and identify prospects in the defined selling vertical and secure meetings with key decision makers
- Interact with key influencers as needed, including brokers/consultants
- Maintain and enhance a complete and up-to-date database of prospects, targets, and contacts
- Participate in analysis of opportunities and potential client needs
- Deliver corporate business model and value proposition to prospects via various communication channels
- Secure new business in accordance with annual sales plan and targets
- Coordinate product/service demonstrations aligned with specific opportunities
- Report sales activity to management
- Work with other corporate divisions on lead generation and follow-up
- Establish a network of sales contacts to provide a steady stream of sales opportunities
- Maintain strong familiarity with technology trends and competition, particularly in the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry
- Maintain close contact with internal partners such as service delivery, account management, finance, legal, implementation.
