About the position
The Quality Data Analyst role at RxSense is responsible for user acceptance testing and quality assurance in the healthcare industry. This includes testing the user experience, creating manual test cases, executing test scripts, and participating in defect remediation. The analyst must have the ability to understand business processes, query data using SQL, analyze and interpret data, and work with large datasets. They will also collaborate with data engineering and business intelligence teams to identify and resolve data anomalies. Experience with reporting/analytical tools like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participation in requirement sessions
- Understanding the business context and underlying processes
- Comprehending data requirements and correlating them to data
- Querying data using simple to complex SQL queries
- Analyzing, interpreting, and inferring from queried result sets
- Acquiring data from multiple data source types
- Identifying critical data entities and attributes
- Interpreting data models to build data joins and associations
- Performing data wrangling and data manipulation techniques
- Reviewing large datasets for data inaccuracies and providing feedback
- Working closely with Data engineering and Business Intelligence teams
- Identifying data, dashboard, and report anomalies and guiding in quick resolution
- Working in a data-centric environment with large volumes of data
- Experience with reporting/analytical tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI (a plus)
- Development of test plans and test scripts based on requirement specifications
- Implementing test plans and scripts
Requirements

- Expertise with acquiring data from multiple data source types (i.e. Transactional and Data warehouse systems) and identifying critical data entities and attributes
- Comfortable interpreting data models to build data joins & associations, data wrangling, and data manipulation techniques
- Work with large datasets, review for data inaccuracies based on stated data requirements, and provide feedback to the business and technology teams
- Work closely with Data engineering and Business Intelligence teams to help identify data, dashboard, report anomalies and guide in quick resolution
- Experience in a data-centric environment where large volumes of data are queried for analysis
- Experience with reporting/analytical tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI is a big plus
- Development of test plans and test scripts based on requirement specifications
- Test plan implementation and script execution
