About the position
We are seeking a consumer-obsessed Vice President, Growth & Retention Marketing to lead all Performance Marketing for MeUndies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our channel expansion and optimization strategy, as well as refining our attribution modeling and expanding the lifetime value of our customers. You will lead a team that executes across various marketing channels and will have the opportunity to test, learn, and bring our Performance Marketing to the next level. The ideal candidate is analytical, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a fast-paced omni-channel environment.
Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and mentor a team of performance marketers across growth and retention
- Drive strategy and execution of performance and re-engagement marketing efforts
- Build and deliver growth forecasts, partnering with Finance, Product, and Digital Product teams
- Maintain and evolve a testing framework to expand learning across the business
- Find opportunities to differentiate media buying approach
- Lead exploration of emerging marketing channels and vet partnership ideas
- Manage and oversee outside agency partners
- Report and analyze campaign performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Develop the Company's promotional calendar and ensure effective execution of promotional strategies
- Lead reporting and analytics across all channels and own the performance of relevant KPIs
- Have 10+ years of digital marketing experience focused on customer acquisition and retention
- Possess analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with A/B testing
- Have expertise in Excel and statistical analysis
- Have experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
- Appreciate Facebook's paid advertising platform and other marketing channels
- Have agency and team management experience
- Bonus points for experience managing agile marketing war rooms, scaling influencer programs, and content strategy & SEO
Requirements
- 10+ years of digital marketing experience heavily focused on customer acquisition and retention, ideally in an e-commerce digital-first brand in a fast growth environment and at scale
- Analytical and quantitative skills, including a strong understanding of online marketing, with experience in rigorous performance data environment and a desire to test and learn (significant experience with A/B testing required)
- Successfully tested into and launched at scale both upper funnel and lower funnel channels
- Both ‘direct response’ and branded campaign experience and have driven meaningful results in both
- Expertise in Excel (SQL is a huge plus), are comfortable working with large datasets and have an in-depth understanding of statistical analysis (incl. common quant techniques such as regression)
- Experience with Google Analytics and other relevant web analytics tools
- A strong appreciation of Facebook’s paid advertising platform, paid search, mobile media, affiliate marketing, display media, and sponsored content campaigns
- Agency and team management experience
- Experience managing agile marketing war rooms (or general marketing strategy consulting experience)
- Experience scaling influencer programs
- Content strategy & SEO
