About the position
The job overview for the Director, Digital Product role at MeUndies is to define and own the digital product roadmap, drive key business priorities through A/B testing and research, and lead feature prioritization for e-commerce and membership programs. The Director will also be responsible for managing a team of visual merchandisers, conducting research to identify areas of growth, and collaborating with various stakeholders to tie the roadmap into the bigger picture of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a results-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as a manager.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the digital product roadmap, utilizing A/B testing, research, and driving key business priorities
- Monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trends, and feedback using analytics to gain insights for driving ecommerce and membership KPIs
- Prioritize features for core e-commerce and membership program on a sprint-to-sprint basis
- Manage a team of visual merchandisers responsible for A/B testing, optimizing product assortments and category landing pages, and driving product discovery funnel
- Lead UX/UI for the current site and new Shopify front-end
- Conduct research, map user journeys, and identify pain points and areas of growth for the business
- Innovate new features and tools to improve the customer experience based on user research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
- Understand customer taste and preference patterns to inform personalization, search, and filtering strategies
- Drive effective decision making and prioritization across stakeholders
- Partner with Technical Project Manager to manage development timelines
- Collaborate with various departments (Marketing, Creative, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Operations, Project Management) to align the roadmap with the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements
- 6 years+ of experience in digital product management
- Experience developing features for a Shopify based site
- Results-driven mindset
- Significant experience working with product analytics software like Heap, GA, and Fullstory
- A/B testing experience
- Working knowledge of personalization strategies and approaches
- Analytical mindset about customer journeys
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a manager
- Ambition and passion for moving quickly
- Ability to recognize and learn from mistakes
