Attack Surface Internet Scanning Product Owner

Recorded Future is seeking an Internet Scanning Product Owner to oversee the development and enhancement of their global internet scanning product. This role requires a deep understanding of threat actors, software vulnerabilities, and common internet infrastructure. The Product Owner will collaborate with engineering teams, define product goals and metrics, and translate business objectives into product strategies. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmaps, as well as translating data and user feedback into actionable plans. Preferred experience includes knowledge of the third-party risk ecosystem.

Oversee the development and improvement of the global internet scanning product

Work across departments to understand the customer experience and execute potential future requirements

Understand how threat actors exploit software vulnerabilities and misconfigurations

Have a deep understanding of common Internet infrastructure including DNS, WHOIS, and load balancing technologies

Work closely with engineering teams

Stay updated on the most recent vulnerabilities and exploits

Have a vulnerability/misconfiguration/bug bounty background

Lead asset mapping of corporations

Familiarity with internet wide scanning tools and/or vendors

Define and be accountable for product goals and metrics

Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategies

Support the product road map to meet business objectives and goals

Create a backlog, write user stories, and manage releases

Assist on collateral for sales demonstrations and customer events

Create and maintain product roadmaps within assigned product areas

Translate analytics, data, and user feedback into actionable product plans

Experience in third-party risk ecosystem (preferred)

7+ years of experience of understanding how threat actors exploit software vulnerabilities and misconfigurations

A deep understanding of common Internet infrastructure including DNS, WHOIS and load balancing technologies

Experience working closely with engineering teams

Be in the know about the most recent vulnerabilities and exploits

Have a vulnerability/misconfiguration/bug bounty background

Understand and lead asset mapping of corporations

Have familiarity with internet wide scanning tools and/or vendors

Define and be accountable for product goals and metrics

Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategies

Support the product road map to meet business objectives and goals
