About The Position
The Visit Facilitator at Mill City Clinic supports patient visits by managing patient registration and the clinic lobby, preparing examination and procedure areas, and coordinating follow-up needs. The role helps provide a welcoming clinic experience while supporting clinicians serving patients across a broad range of conditions and ages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the clinic lobby and register patients.
- Check in patients for clinic services according to scripts and clinic processes.
- Complete patient registration, print labels, and prepare new patient registrations as requested.
- Prepare examination and procedure areas for patient appointments.
- Set up examination or procedure rooms.
- Clean each examination and procedure room before and after each patient visit.
- Prepare for procedures by bringing in and setting up equipment or supplies.
- Transport and clean equipment and instruments.
- Complete visit wrap-up by scheduling and coordinating follow-up appointments and other needs.
- Assist patients with simple and sophisticated MyChart sign-up and scheduling.
