About The Position

Fullmind is seeking a Virtual School Counselor to provide services to students in Arizona K–12 schools. The counselor will support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth through virtual services, evaluations, assessments, reports, and intervention planning. The role follows the school district’s calendar, with Monday-to-Friday work during school hours. Assignments are available for the 2026–27 school year, with immediate start dates depending on placement availability after the application process is completed. This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor opportunity. The advertised daily fee is $340–$370; rates are negotiable and subject to change, with compensation also described as an hourly rate negotiable based on experience and placement. The position does not include employee benefits.

Requirements

• Hold an active Arizona School Counselor certificate.
• Be in good standing, with no disciplinary actions on any license held.
• Have experience with virtual platforms for assessment and virtual delivery in a school/IEP context.
• Have a reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
• Be comfortable collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual school counselor services that support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and reports.
• Create and carry out intervention plans and recommendations.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require, when required.
• Collaborate with families, school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to align everyone on student progress.
• Promptly notify campus and district contacts when a student misses a session.
• Immediately notify campus and district contacts of threats or safety concerns.
