About The Position

At Mandalay Bay, the VIP Lounge Representative helps create a welcoming guest experience through personable service and thoughtful interactions. The role handles VIP check-in and check-out, supports guest billing and transactions, and completes daily opening and closing procedures for the VIP lounge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Prior relevant guest service experience.
• Prior relevant Front Desk or Concierge experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the VIP check-in and check-out process is efficient and flawless while maintaining an excellent working relationship between the property and guests.
• Resolve guest bills with casino hosts for additional food, beverages, or show tickets.
• Ensure charges and credits are posted correctly, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance cash and cash-equivalent transactions according to property procedures.
• Open the VIP lounge daily according to department standards, including running Opera reports for guest arrivals and departures and assigning rooms for VIP arrivals.
• Close the VIP lounge daily according to department standards, including ensuring guest rooms are assigned, sending amenities, taking prepared keys to the front desk, running next-day arrival reports, forwarding phones, and locking the lounge.
