About The Position

As a Food & Beverage Runner at Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay, you will help deliver an elevated guest experience in a sophisticated lounge setting. You will provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service, accurately present food and beverage selections, and demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings. Working closely with the service team, you will help ensure seamless operations and create memorable experiences for guests.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of prior relevant experience in a similar environment.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table according to the sequence of service and direction from the Chef or kitchen expediter.
• Describe food when placing it on the table and answer questions about the dishes.
• Describe menu features as needed, including changes and additions.
• Communicate with the expediter to ensure food is delivered to the correct table and position.
• Perform assigned opening and closing side-work.
• Communicate guest needs to the kitchen and management, share guest comments with management, and assist management in ensuring smooth operations and quality service.
• Check the dining area, tables, and chairs for cleanliness and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the station and service area.
