About The Position

Corfu Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. The clinic is located in a country setting near Buffalo and prides itself on providing quality medicine with a personal touch. They go above and beyond to accommodate clients and their pets, offering conveniences such as ample parking, a handicap ramp, assistance with pet transfer, a large dog-walking area, and separate entry/exit doors to maintain a home-like feel while delivering excellent veterinary care.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years veterinary experience or medical experience
Bubbly, positive, and welcoming personality
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay calm in stressful situations
Highly organized
Possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skill set
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
May be exposed to animal waste and potentially contagious diseases

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Answer questions and triage client concerns
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
Check in and check out clients
Process payments
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
