Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
About The Position
Companion Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of the hospital. The role focuses on creating exceptional client experiences and building trust through compassionate service. The representative manages appointments and daily patient flow, handles multi-line phones and in-person interactions, processes transactions, and provides clients with essential information about hospital services. The position is full-time, follows a 5/8 schedule, and requires availability Monday through Saturday. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The hospital is a well-established, four-doctor practice in Cameron Park with a collaborative, team-focused atmosphere, six registered veterinary technicians, a diverse caseload, and modern diagnostics including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house labs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role.
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients.
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods.
- Availability Monday through Saturday.
