Veterinary Coordinator - Emergency
About The Position
PVESC is seeking a Veterinary Coordinator – Emergency & Critical Care (also referred to as an Emergency Client Coordinator) for its newly built emergency and specialty hospital in Falmouth, Maine. The coordinator helps organize emergency medicine operations, support patient flow, and connect clients, referring hospitals, and the emergency team. The role calls for veterinary experience, strong organizational skills, a calm-under-pressure attitude, and positive energy. Emergency experience is a bonus. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Saturday 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m., Tuesday 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m., Wednesday 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m., and Friday 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m. Compensation is $22–$34 per hour based on experience and licensure, with potential for a sign-on bonus based on experience and licensure.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming cases, triage, and patient flow.
- Keep clients, referring hospitals, and the emergency team connected.
- Help clients navigate emergency visits through compassionate, clear communication.
- Support discharges, records, and day-to-day emergency department operations.
- Work alongside criticalists, emergency clinicians, technicians, and the client service team.
