About The Position

Animal Wellness Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative to help provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and a welcoming experience for clients and patients. The role is a key point of contact for pet owners and supports smooth daily hospital operations. Candidates may have veterinary CSR experience or customer service experience in another client-focused industry.

Requirements

• Strong customer service experience in veterinary, medical, hospitality, retail, or another client-focused environment is welcomed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional client service.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort learning new computer systems and technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Verify vaccination status and required testing.
• Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with doctors and technical staff.
• Prepare prescriptions, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client information.
• Support daily hospital operations to ensure a seamless client experience.
